"Guys why are we here?"
Me: "Because we were stupid, and wanted small classes, and thought that this was the best option."
"I want to leave."
Me: "OMFG same here, I want to leave, I want to drop out and I never want to come back."
"Keele is so much better."
Me: "Amen to that."
"I want to go home."
Me: "Hey you're going home soon, I'm stuck in this place way longer than you are."
Highschool never prepared us for this, if I knew uni was going to be like this, I would've taken the one year crap, work my ass off and pay uni right then and there rather than praying I get enough days per week just to support next year's tuition.
Btw I do have art to upload, I just haven't had the time to upload them because uni gets in the way too much. Speaking of uni, I should go study.
P.S. using what I've learned in one of my classes, I will now restate my rant in a properly stated argument.
"University is more of a nightmare that I had anticipated. High school never prepared us for this, and by this I mean the staggering amount of money for education in addition to taxes, the various limitations for course selection, and the speed at which time now travels. You know, in regards to the money, you would think that classes would be taught from the experience and the teachings of the professors, rather than the information within the textbooks. Granted every professor has their own idea of how to teach a class, but really - I know how to read a book without the help of someone older than me. Even in my wildest nightmares, university can't compare to them. The scariest thing I have ever dreamt of about university is the overwhelming homework, but homework is better than being bored and literally being placed in the dark. I have no idea what to expect on any tests and evaluations - there are no specifics to anything. Everything is vague, and sketchy."
